CEQA & NEPA Environmental Documentation
Since 1980, Dudek has prepared more than 1,000 environmental regulatory compliance documents with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). We prepare and process environmental regulatory compliance documentation for a wide range of development projects including community developments, infrastructure and institutional facilities, and habitat conservation plans (HCP) and natural community conservation plans (NCCP).

Our range of CEQA and NEPA services include:
  • Notice of preparation/notice of intent
  • Initial studies/environmental assessments
  • Mitigated negative declarations/findings of no significant impact
  • Environmental impact reports/statements
  • Mitigation monitoring programs
  • As-needed/extension-of-staff to support implementation of the CEQA process for lead agencies in an overall program management capacity or on a task order basis

With our comprehensive environmental consulting capabilities, we can also perform biological services to produce the surveys used by the CEQA and NEPA preparer in writing the report's biological section. Comprehensive biological resources and impact analysis reports incorporate general surveys and vegetation community mapping; GIS studies using GPS, aerial photography and topographical mapping; and jurisdictional wetland delineation for areas covered by state and federal regulations. Additional biological services for CEQA and NEPA may be required if federally-listed species or wetlands are impacted.

Dudek's NEPA services (SIN 899-1) are available through the GSA Federal Supply Schedule (Contract #GS-10F-0200S).
