Projects include:
County of Riverside Mid-County Parkway
Addressed regional resource planning issues related to multiple habitat conservation plans (HCP), developing and evaluating alternatives to avoid or minimize HCP conflicts. Additionally, Dudek worked with resource agencies to resolve conflicts and complete the NEPA/404 process.
City of Carlsbad Rancho Santa Fe Road
Planned and managed construction of a major road widening project from two to six lanes, realigning a two-mile section, relocating a major intersection, and constructing two new bridges while minimizing traffic and general community disruptions.
San Diego Regional Airport Authority
Preparing the required CEQA Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) documentation for 16 public airports and four military airports and assessing land use compatibility between ALUCP and local jurisdictions. Dudek employed extensive GIS services such as developing a state-of-the-art interactive tool, 16 base maps, and land use and airspace maps.
North County Transit District
As extension of staff, provided guidance on environmental and permit compliance for the 22-mile Sprinter Rail as well as transformed an abandoned trailer park near Escondido Creek into thriving wetlands as part of the project’s off-site mitigation.
