Projects include:
San Diego State University – San Diego, CA Dudek updated the Campus Master Plan in 2007, 2005 and 2000, analyzing the environmental impacts of proposed construction projects as well as leading public outreach efforts.
Santa Barbara School and High School District – Santa Barbara, CA Dudek prepared CEQA documents (MND) for Dos Pueblos High School’s comprehensive master improvement plan that included stadium completion, performing arts center, and swimming pool replacement as well as habitat restoration documents for a nearby creek.
Sweetwater Union High School – San Diego, CA Dudek performed Phase I environmental site assessments for two district high schools as well as negotiated with the DTSC to limit the PEA investigation area to the new construction site in order to meet a tight construction schedule.
San Marcos Unified School District – San Marcos, CA Dudek prepared CEQA documents (EIR), conducted biological surveys, processed permits, developed supporting reports and documents, and prepared plans and specifications for wetlands and thread-leaved brodiaea rare plant mitigation. Dudek’s subsidiary, Habitat Restoration Sciences (HRS) installed the mitigation designs.
University of California, San Diego, CA Dudek prepared a comprehensive eucalyptus grove management plan for an 125-acre site, which addressed tree removal and replacement, maintenance, irrigation, pest control, fire management, and wildlife/habitat preservation
