Michael Metts, P.E.
Engineering Services Manager
Michael Metts is Dudek's engineering services manager. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the engineering team as well as leading client projects including evaluation and expansion of existing facilities and the design of new facilities.
Metts has nearly 25 years experience as a professional engineer throughout the Southwest with an emphasis in California. He held project engineering and management positions in addition to serving in systems analysis, computer modeling, and planning and designing of water, wastewater and reclaimed water conveyance and treatment facilities.
Most notably, Metts is affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Water Works Association (AWWA), California Water Pollution Control Association (CWPCA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the American Public Works Association (APWA). In 2000, Metts was awarded the American Public Works Association (APWA) Outstanding Service in a Private Sector. He is also active in the community, serving as the 2006-2007 president of his local Rotary Club, a community service organization focused on local and international humanitarian support.
Metts earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Kentucky.
