Encinitas, Calif. – April 22, 2008 – Dudek today announced it received the prestigious 2008 Employer of the Year award from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Chapter 11 in the 20 or less right of way (ROW) employees category. This award was presented based on Dudek’s outstanding support of its IRWA member employees and contributions to the association’s activities.

“Right of way is a complex business, as landowners may be unaware of their properties’ easements and install unauthorized structures or plant impeding vegetation. Easement holders are then faced with enforcing their rights of way,” said Joe Currie, Dudek’s right-of-way services manager. “We’re pleased to be recognized for our efforts in supporting IRWA’s goals, as we work with numerous public and private clients in extension of staff roles to maintain and acquire facility access.”

Dudek’s ROW management group helps numerous California public agencies, utilities, energy companies, and large landowners with ROW-related maintenance, acquisition, and encroachment processing.
