DUDEK - Thomas Evans Joins Dudek as Principal Engineer

Santa Barbara, Calif. – April 24, 2007 – Dudek today announced Thomas Evans, P.E., has joined the engineering and environmental consulting firm as principal engineer. Based in the Santa Barbara office, Evans will focus on the region’s expanding infrastructure needs in the areas of water, wastewater, and transportation as well as the engineering needs of various land development clients.

Evans has 30 years experience planning, engineering, and providing construction assistance services for municipalities and private landowners in the Santa Barbara area. Prior to joining Dudek, he served as city engineer for the local communities of Buellton, Solvang and Carpinteria as well as water resources expert for the Santa Barbara County Water Agency. His expertise includes repairing, reconstructing, and retrofitting numerous high-profile downtown streetscapes as well as designing new infrastructure. Additionally, Evans regularly serves as an expert witness on drainage and land development cases. Evans is a California registered professional civil engineer and a member of the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Public Works Association, and the American Mensa Society.
