Dudek Adds Senior Engineering and Environmental Consulting Staff

Encinitas, Calif. – March 13, 2007 – Dudek expanded its engineering and environmental consulting practice by adding four senior staff.
  • Mark Myers, CAC, REA, joins as hazardous waste practice manager for the firm’s Irvine office.
  • Stephanie Standerfer, a senior project manager, will assist public works and private developers with navigating the complex California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process.
  • Gary Rogers, a senior engineer, will work with municipalities to design and review plans for new water, recycled water and wastewater facilities.
  • Stephen Moore is a senior right-of-way agent who will help agencies manage and maintain their easement documentation and assess rights.

Myers has nearly 20 years experience in facility decommissioning, site characterization, asbestos consulting, site remediation, and specification development. He previously served as an environmental services manager at a private practice firm, where he managed operations and supervised 21 staff members. Holding a California contractors license in hazardous substances removal and asbestos abatement, Myers is a registered environmental assessor and certified asbestos consultant.

Standerfer brings nearly 10 years experience helping clients manage complex public and private projects through the entitlement process and with CEQA compliance. Prior to joining Dudek, she served as a planning and environmental director for a private consulting firm, where she led a 10-person team and provided quality assurance for the client documentation work product. Standerfer, who teaches CEQA workshops, is a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals and the Urban Land Institute as well as serves as the chair of the City of Riverside’s Cultural Heritage Board.

Rogers has more than 12 years engineering consulting experience in reviewing plans and studies for water, recycled water and wastewater agencies. Additionally, he has designed, prepared specifications, and estimated costs for infrastructure facilities including transmission mains, water storage facilities, and pump stations. A California registered civil engineer, Rogers is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Water Works Association and Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society.

Moore, a 25 year industry veteran, has extensive experience in real property acquisition, facility relocations and plan checking for potential encroachments. He previously served as a right-of-way agent with the San Diego County Water Authority and as a field engineer with San Diego Gas & Electric.
