California-based Firm Has Extensive Experience Assisting Municipalities and Major Land Owners in Rapidly Growing Region

Encinitas, Calif. – November 14, 2006 – Dudek, a leading Southern California engineering and environmental consulting firm, has expanded into Los Angeles and Kern counties with the opening of its new Santa Clarita office. Marking the firm’s fifth Southern California location, the new office will offer environmental planning, biology, habitat restoration, urban forestry, engineering and hydrogeology services to municipal agencies and land developers.

“Los Angeles and Kern counties are experiencing rapid development, and with this growth, comes balancing regulatory compliance with completing projects on schedule and on budget,” said June Collins, Dudek’s vice president and environmental division manager. “Our strategic approach to analyzing, entitling, permitting and implementing projects is aimed at enabling clients to make effective decisions about their project design and execution.”

Collins said Dudek is well-suited to serve the growing area because of the firm’s 26 years experience with numerous master-planned communities in San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties. The firm currently services a number of Los Angeles-area developers and municipalities from its San Diego and Orange county offices.

The Santa Clarita office will be managed by Sherri Miller, a senior project manager specializing in environmental documentation and permitting.
